专利说明:
[0001] TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a device for fixing an elongate element, in particular but not necessarily to an elongate cylindrical element. It finds applications, in particular, for fixing sensors on a support, for example at the interface between two media separated by a partition traversed by the elongated element. It may be, for example, a liquid level sensor to be fixed on the wall of a tank. [0002] Another nonlimiting example of application of the invention relates to a tripod, for example for a camera, camera, or surveying instrument such as a distance meter or a laser range finder. BACKGROUND In many technical fields, an elongate member such as a rod, pipe, pipe, or flexible or rigid conduit must be secured at a certain orientation angle to a predetermined plane, for example by relative to the plane of a surface of a support or in relation to the ground. In addition to the angular adjustment performed, it may be necessary to further adjust the axial position of the elongate member along an axis corresponding to a longitudinal axis of said element. In certain applications, moreover, and in particular when the elongate support is cylindrical so that it has a symmetry of rotation about its longitudinal axis, it may still be necessary to adjust and freeze the angular position of this element, with regard to its ability to rotate around its longitudinal axis. The invention applies when the elongated element has at least two of the three degrees of freedom mentioned above to which three independent settings correspond. There is thus a need for improvement of the fastening systems of an elongated element, making it possible to obtain a plurality of adjustments from an adjustment of the orientation of the longitudinal axis of the element with respect to a plane, a setting the position of the element in translation along the longitudinal axis and an adjustment of the angular position of the element relative to its capacity for rotation about said axis. PRIOR ART Elongated element fastening systems are described in the prior art. GB 410166 discloses a level measuring device in a container, comprising a rod connected to a float and passing through closure means, themselves in connection with a socket. The rod passes through a capillary also passing through the closure means and a ball joint located between the closure means and the socket. The ball joint allows slight angular movements of the capillary in all directions, the diameter of the capillary being slightly less than the diameter of the light through which it passes through the closing means and the grip. However, this system does not provide locking means in translation of the capillary through the closing means and the plug. EP 0445088 further discloses a pivotal attachment means for attaching an object to a support surface. This fixing means comprises a lower fastening portion intended to be attached to the surface of the support and having a bolt forming a spacer, and an upper fixing portion comprising a fixing plate intended to be fixed on the object. A fixing nut is placed around the bolt forming a spacer and a spherical body is fixed on the outer end of the bolt in the space between the lower fixing portion and the fixing nut. No locking means in translation of the bolt is provided in this device. Document FR 2606625 discloses a probe support for attaching an ultrasound probe to a measurement zone comprising a base, support means surrounding the probe, means exerting an elastic pressure on the probe and a locking ring intended to lock. the support means on the base. The support means consist of a ball joint abutting on the base, a jaw applied to the probe and guiding it in translation, and a sleeve surrounding the jaw and passing through the ball joint. The locking ring allows angularly blocking the ball by a first screwing, then a stop screw passing through the jaw then allows to block the longitudinal translation of the probe relative to said jaw. This system thus makes it possible to obtain both an angular locking of the ball and a locking in translation of the probe in a given longitudinal position. However, these two blocks are allowed by separate means, and are obtained in two successive actions independent of each other. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention aims at overcoming the disadvantages of the aforementioned prior art by proposing a device for fixing an elongated element, said device comprising: an angularly orientable ball joint, having a through duct of determined longitudinal axis according to which the elongated element can move in translation and / or around which the elongated element can move in rotation - means for clamping the ball joint able to lock the ball in a given angular position, in which the ball joint has a elasticity allowing the clamping means to deform all or part of the ball joint so as to block, in addition, the elongated element in determined longitudinal position and / or in determined angular position in the conduit. In one example, the nature of the material constituting the ball allows it to have sufficient elasticity for the clamping means, when used to lock the ball joint, to deform the ball by means of a set of pressure, so as to also block the longitudinal translation of the elongated element. The blocking of the angle of the patella which determines the orientation of the elongated element, as well as the blocking of the position of the elongate element, if necessary in translation along its longitudinal axis and / or in rotation around this axis , can then be obtained simultaneously during a single action using the clamping means. Advantageously, the clamping means of the ball may comprise a first and a second clamping element capable of cooperating with each other and arranged on either side of the ball joint, respectively. This makes it possible to obtain an effective blocking of the patella. In a particular embodiment, the first member and the second clamp member may be in the form of rings providing a passage for the elongate member. This configuration optimizes the cooperation of the two clamping elements with each other and represents a simple form to achieve and economic. Advantageously, the first element and the second clamping element may comprise complementary means allowing their mutual engagement by screwing, in order to provide a linear clamping effect and a stable locking. In a particular embodiment, all or part of a respective inner face of each of the first and second clamping members facing the patella may be substantially complementary to the shape of the patella. This complementarity makes it possible to improve the engagement of the clamping elements with the ball joint and thus offers a more effective blocking. In a particular embodiment, the conduit passing through the ball may have a cylindrical shape. Preferably, the elongated element 4 also has a cylindrical shape, complementary to the through conduit to facilitate rotational movements along the radial axis of said elongated element. This geometric shape gives the elongated element a rotational capacity about its longitudinal axis within the conduit passing through the ball joint. In embodiments, the clamping means may be able to further ensure the maintenance of the device on a wall or any other plane support comprising at least one orifice providing a passage for the elongated element. The device can thus be fixed on the surface of an object through which the elongated element has to pass at an orientation at an angle relative to the plane of this surface, and with a determined length of penetration through this surface. [0003] Advantageously, the clamping means can ensure the maintenance of the device on the wall and the locking of the elongated element sealingly. The elongated element can also move inside the duct through the ball joint in a sealed manner to limit any intrusion on either side of the wall on which the device is fixed. These embodiments are suitable for applications in which the wall separates two distinct and sealed environments to each other. In a particular embodiment, the ball may have longitudinal elastic claws at at least one end of the duct to increase its elastic properties and thus improve the locking stability of the elongate member. These claws can for example be obtained by the production of longitudinal slots, extending parallel to the axis of the conduit passing through the ball. [0004] The present invention also relates to an apparatus comprising a wall provided with at least one orifice, as well as at least one device as described above, arranged to hold an elongated element in a determined position, integral with the wall. The apparatus may thus have a plurality of devices attached at respective holes on its wall and through which elongate members are to be positioned at a certain orientation angle with respect to a wall surface and with certain length of penetration through the wall, which are determined. In a particular embodiment, the wall may be at least locally flat at the orifice which facilitates the fixing of the device at the device, as well as sealing. [0005] Advantageously, the elongated element held on the wall may carry a sensor for making different measurements of a body, for example a liquid, located on the other side of the wall. [0006] Brief Description of the Drawings Other features and advantages of the invention will become apparent upon reading the following description. [0007] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF AN EMBODIMENT The description of an embodiment of a device for fixing an elongated element is detailed below with reference to the figures mentioned above. [0008] FIG. 1 shows in three dimensions a device for fixing an elongated element 5 not fixed to a wall and unassembled, comprising a ball joint 2 traversed by said elongated element 5 and positioned between a first clamping element 1 and a second element of FIG. FIG. 2 shows, in sectional view, the device for fixing an elongated element according to one embodiment of the invention on a wall 6 of a reservoir passing through the central axis of the device. The device comprises a ball of 2 of roughly spherical shape 7, and longitudinally traversed by a conduit 8 in the form of a central recess opening directly from said ball 2. The conduit 8 is adapted to receive an elongate member 5 , with the possibility of displacement of the latter in the duct 8, in particular a displacement in axial translation of the longitudinal axis of the elongate element 5 which also corresponds to the longitudinal axis of the duct 8. Optionally, the duct 8 can have a cylindrical shape to allow rotational movements of the elongated element 5 around its longitudinal axis. The shape and the dimensions of the section of the recess preferably correspond to those of the section of the elongated element in a plane perpendicular to its longitudinal axis. In the example shown in Figures 1 to 5, this section is circular. In the present example, the elongate element 5 is indeed cylindrical in shape and the through conduit 8 of the ball 2 is also cylindrical with dimensions adapted to receive said elongated element 5 and allow it to perform movements longitudinal translation along the axis "d" inside said duct 8 and rotational movements about its longitudinal axis. However, there is nothing to prevent the elongated element 5 and the conduit 8 from having a non-cylindrical shape with a polygon-shaped section or any other geometrical figure. Preferably, the shape of the duct 8 is complementary to that of the elongated element 5 in order to facilitate the sliding and the rotation of the elongated element in the following duct, respectively around the longitudinal direction, and to limit the following sets of other directions. FIG. 3a shows, in plan view, an exemplary embodiment of the ball 2 in which said ball 2 has a generally spherical shape. The duct 8 passing through the ball 2 is in the form of an orifice of circular cross-section, of diameter slightly less than that of the ball 2. In this example, the elongated element 5 (not shown in FIG. cylindrical shape complementary to that of the duct. The surface of the ball 28 8 shows notches 12 extending radially from the center of the ball 2 to its periphery and forming at the wall of the ball 2 longitudinal elastic claws 9 at at least one end of the duct 8. Figure 3b shows said patella 2 in side view. [0009] Clamping elements 1 and 3 as illustrated in FIGS. 4a, 4b, 4c and 5 are distributed on either side of the ball 2 and make it possible to position and lock said ball 2 at an angle of orientation "a Determined. The action of these clamping elements 1 and 3 on the ball 2 imposes a pressure on the latter so that the ball 2 undergoes deformation due to its intrinsic elasticity. This deformation of the ball 2 is reflected on the duct 8 which passes through said ball 2 by reducing the perimeter of section of said duct 8. This reduction of perimeter of the duct 8 is all the more pronounced that the ball 2 has claws at the level of its wall which further accentuate its deformation under the effect of the clamping elements 1 and 3. Due to the reduction of perimeter of the conduit 8, the contact points of the elongate element 5 with the conduit 8 become more numerous which has the effect of ensuring the tightening of the ball 2 against the clamping elements 1 and 3, namely more particularly between the clamping elements in the example. And this to a degree that makes it possible to block the longitudinal translation of the elongated element 5 inside the duct 8. The clamping elements 1 and 3 thus make it possible, by virtue of their interaction with the patella 2, to obtain a double blocking: the angle of the ball 2 and the longitudinal position of the elongate member 5 are in fact fixed by a single action obtained by the implementation of the clamping elements 1 and 3. Advantageously, the clamping elements comprise a first clamping element 1 and a second clamping element 3 adapted to cooperate with each other, respectively enclosing on each side the ball 2 and thereby firmly blocking said ball 2 in angular position. The cooperation of the clamping elements 1 and 3 with each other thus improves the angular locking of the ball 2 and the locking in the longitudinal position of the elongated element 5. This cooperation can be optimized when the first and the second clamping element 1 and 3 are in the form of rings through which the elongated element 5 can pass and move in longitudinal translation. This embodiment has the advantage of being simple and economical to achieve, allowing to obtain a good quality of blocking. Preferably, the clamping elements 1 and 3 may comprise complementary means allowing their mutual engagement by screwing. A screw thread located on the clamping element 1 then cooperates with another complementary screw thread located on the clamping element 3, to completely secure the two clamping elements 1 and 3 in engagement with the ball joint. 2. [0010] To obtain a better locking of the ball 2 with respect to the clamping elements 1 and 3, these may advantageously have all or part of their internal face facing the ball 2 substantially complementary to the shape of said ball 2, to know a spherical shape in the example considered here. In this way, the points of contact between the clamping elements 1 and 3 and the ball 2 are increased and the implementation of the clamping means 1 and 3 relative to the ball 2 provides blocking all the more important. In the present example, the shape of the ball 2 is roughly spherical, the elements 1 and 3 have an inner face facing the ball 2 substantially spherical, concave, which is complementary to the spherical shape, convex, of the ball 2. In the case where the ball would have a non-spherical shape, the inner face facing the ball 2 of the clamping elements 1 and 3 would adopt just as complementary a shape capable of adapting to this non-spherical shape, that is to say to say to offer the maximum of surface of contact. [0011] As illustrated in FIG. 1 and FIGS. 4a, 4b and 4c, the clamping means 1 and 3 are able to hold the device on a wall 6 comprising at least one orifice providing a passage for the elongated element 5. The clamping means 1 may, for example, comprise pins 13 with a portion comprising an outer diameter substantially equal to the diameter of the orifice and another portion with an outer diameter substantially greater than the diameter of the orifice so that the device can be fixed on the wall 6 by snapping through said orifice. These lugs 13 may optionally cooperate with a clamping nut 4, as shown in FIGS. 6a and 6b, positioned on the clamping element 1, on the other side of the wall 6 with respect to the lugs 13, while being for example, pressed against the elongated member under the effect of the clamping nut. Other means for holding the clamping elements 1 and 3 on the orifice of the wall 6 can also be envisaged, whether in a substitutional way or cumulatively to the example detailed above. FIG. 7 thus illustrates another embodiment in which the clamping element 1 has an annular bulge 14 resting on the wall 6 and making it possible to stabilize the fastening of the lug 13 situated on the other side of the wall 6. Figure 8 illustrates a reinforced attachment of the clamping element 1 with the installation of nails 15 piercing the annular bulge 14 and the wall 6. Figure 9 illustrates yet another reinforced attachment of the clamping element 1 with the bolts 16 passing through the annular bulge 14 and the wall 6. Advantageously, the attachment of the device on the wall 6 can be made sealingly. For this purpose, a seal 7 may be disposed between the wall 6 and the clamping elements 1 and 3 so that no leakage can occur from one side to the other of said wall 6. device thus described is advantageously maintained on the wall 6 of an apparatus, said wall 6 being provided with at least one orifice. Preferably, the wall of the devices on which the devices are attached is at least locally flat at the orifice, so as to facilitate its attachment. [0012] 11 It can be any type of device requiring to position an elongate element 5 through a wall 6 at an angle and with a predetermined longitudinal position. Such devices may require, for example, the measurement of bottom distance of a tank or ultrasonic detection threshold measurement, magnetostrictive rod, laser or other ... The interest of the device positioned on such devices is that it allows the precise adjustment of the two parameters that are the orientation angle and the length of penetration of the elongated element 5, and the locking of the elongated element in a stable position according to these two parameters, and this in one action. 12
